Technical Education Scholarships

The Technical Scholarship is to provide financial support to students pursuing post secondary educational endeavors in the vocational and technical arts. The Foundation has awarded as many as 8 $1000 Technical Scholarships.

Students must be in good standing and will be judged on the following areas:
1. GPA of 2.0 or higher
2. Teacher references (2)
​3. Completion of application form noting the selected program and goals after completing the program of study..
​4. This scholarship is for students who plan on completing a 2 Year Certification Vocational/Technical Education Program

Alumni Scholarship

The BSHS Alumni Scholarship will provide financial support to students pursuing post secondary education endeavors in higher education. The Alumni Scholarship has been awarded since 2012.

1. GPA of 3.2 or higher
2. A letter of interest that would address the students post - secondary plans and a discussion of why the applicant is applying for the scholarship
3. A resume
4. A transcript
5. A short essay that focuses on the following areas: character, volunteerism and career aspirations

Education Foundation

Foundation Scholarship

Established in 2011 the Bonner Springs/Edwardsville Education Foundation has awarded as many as 25 $1000 Scholarships for the Foundation Scholarship. Our purpose is to provide financial support to students pursuing post secondary education endeavors in higher education.

Our purpose is to provide financial support to students pursuing post secondary education endeavors in higher education and the vocational or technological arts.
* 2 - 4 year College or University 
* DeVry University 

The scholarship is available to any member of the Class to 2019 who address the following criteria for application:


Qualifications: G P A – 3.2 Application: The application shall include:
1. A letter of interest that would address the students post-secondary plans and a discussion of why the applicant is applying for the scholarship
2. A resume
3. A transcript Short Essay: The student will have an opportunity to respond to short essay questions on the following focus areas
* Character
* Volunteerism
* Career Aspirations
